Joseph Michael Pogodzinski
I have worked as an academic economist for over twenty years, teaching and doing research mainly in the area of urban public finance and comparative economic systems. I have also done both international and domestic consulting. In the international arena, I have worked for both private consulting firms and the U.S. Treasury Department in Central and Eastern Europe, the Former Soviet Union and Africa on tax, budget and housing issues. In domestic policy analysis, I have worked with state and local government agencies on issues of low-income housing, teacher licensing, and privatization of state and local services. I have published a book on public policy, and numerous academic articles and consulting reports.
